The Tailwater Tiny is a small nymph pattern for the clear, cold flows below dams where trout feed selectively on tiny insects. Its minimal profile matches the small naturals that dominate tailwater trout diets.
Fish it as a dropper behind a slightly larger nymph in slow pools and tailouts. Size #18 is right for the small-fly game that defines technical tailwater fishing.
