The Tailwater Tiny in rust is a small midge-style nymph in a warm rust tone for clear tailwater flows. The subtle color matches the midges of cold, clear rivers below dams.
Fish it as a dropper in slow pools and tailouts. Size #18 suits the technical small-fly fishing that defines tailwater trout. Midges hatch in every month of the year, so this is a pattern worth keeping on your rig from winter straight through fall.
