The TZM Midge in black is a small midge pattern with a dark, minimal profile. Black midges hatch in huge numbers through the colder months, and this pattern matches them with a simple, effective design.
Fish it as a dropper in tailouts and slow pools. Size #18 covers the midge activity that sustains trout through winter. Midges hatch in every month of the year, so this is a pattern worth keeping on your rig from winter straight through fall.
