The Zebra Midge FB in black and red is a two-tone midge larva with a flashback wing case. The contrasting colors and flash suggest an emerging midge, matching what trout feed on during hatches.
Fish it as a dropper in the film zone of slow pools. Size #18 is a go-to for technical midge fishing on tailwaters. Midges hatch in every month of the year, so this is a pattern worth keeping on your rig from winter straight through fall.
