Renzetti R-Evolution Dubbing Needle Large is a large dubbing needle from Renzetti's R-Evolution line, a pointed tool for the fine detail work of fly tying. Dubbing needles apply head cement precisely, pick out stray fibers, clear hook eyes of cement and dubbing, and separate materials exactly where the tyer wants them.
When to Use It
Keep it at the vise for finishing work on larger flies: clearing hook eyes on streamers, applying cement to big thread heads, and picking out dubbed collars. The large size gives a confident grip for the heavier detail work that small needles handle awkwardly.
