The BH Wooly Bugger in Black, size #6, from MRFC. A beadhead (BH) version of the classic black wooly bugger.
The added bead weight helps this pattern reach trout holding deeper, without the hassle of extra split shot. Black remains a top producer in all water types.
Streamers imitate the baitfish, sculpins, and other forage that big trout hunt.
Strip them with an erratic retrieve, and don't be afraid to pause; many strikes come on the drop.
