A Golden Stone dry fly pattern with a low-riding, struggling profile. The "barely kickin" design suggests a spent or crippled adult — an easy target trout rarely refuse.
Fish it on a dead drift in the surface film during Golden Stone hatches, especially in slower water where naturals collect.
Pair it with a smaller dropper nymph underneath when fish are looking up but not committing; the big dry doubles as your strike indicator.
