The Flagler TBH Flash Squirrel from MRFC is a tungsten bead-head emerger tied in size #16. The tungsten bead-head helps it sink quickly into the feeding zone.
Emergers imitate insects in the vulnerable transition from nymph to dun. Fish it in or just under the surface film during a hatch — a drag-free drift is everything. Carry a selection in several sizes to match the hatch at hand.
