The Jig Bugger in Olive, size #8, from Montana Fly Co. An olive bugger tied jig-style for trout.
The jig format rides hook-point-up, reducing snags on the bottom where buggers do their best work. Olive is a top all-around bugger color.
Fish streamers tight to banks, through deep runs, and along structure where predators hold.
Streamers imitate the baitfish, sculpins, and other forage that big trout hunt.
