When Pale Morning Dun mayflies finish mating, they fall spent to the surface as spinners — and trout often feed on them selectively. This hi-vis spinner pattern imitates that spent stage with a bright, easy-to-see post.
Fish it flat on the surface during spinner falls, typically in the evening, on a dead drift through rising lanes.
Work likely holding water methodically, covering each seam before moving on, since mayfly feeders often hold station and wait for the next drift.
