This has been Rising's tag line since they started because it is also their guiding vision - be that on the water, on the river bank, at the tying table, or chilling by the campfire.
Rising's first products shipped in January of 2005, and they were the first to coat their nippers in rubber and the first to enlarge the finger loops on their hemostats. In 2009, Rising entered into an exclusive distribution deal with Umpqua Feather Merchants. As the largest manufacturer of flies in the world, they were a natural partner for Rising. In 2015 Rising moved their operations away from the warehouse in Salt Lake City up to a rural property in the mountains and transformed a barn into a manufacturing center. Now Rising works from their own shop, with windows looking onto pastures and livestock, enjoying the ambiance and pace of what is still an agrarian area.
