Maven Rods

Inspired by a childhood spent fishing the Firth of Thames, Maven was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 2007. Maven's passions are design, technology and fishing, and they set out to bring these together to create the finest of fishing rods.

Each rod features a retro chic longitudinal pinstripe and arch pattern - the lengthways pinstripe being a world first for a fishing rod and recognized by registered design mark.

Maven's team works from a state of the art facility situated on the edge of native bushland in Auckland, New Zealand. Maven uses world-renowned, New Zealand made CTS rod blanks and only the best rod componentry to create handcrafted fishing rods of unmatched quality and performance.
